AA HOUSE

AA House is a north- and east-facing brick residence located in the outskirts of Hyderabad, at Shamshabad, conceived as a strong yet grounded presence within a growing residential community. The architecture is expressed as a solid brick volume robust, timeless, and deeply contextual establishing a clear identity while responding sensitively to climate, orientation, and daily living patterns.

At the heart of the home lies a series of courtyards that interact with the spaces at multiple levels, drawing in light, air, and moments of pause throughout the house. These voids extend vertically, maintaining a visual and spatial dialogue from the ground floor to the terraces above.

The interiors are kept warm and minimal, with natural materials defining the atmosphere wooden furniture, comfortable Kota stone flooring, and restrained finishes that allow light and space to take precedence. Together, the brick envelope and the inward-looking courtyards create a home that is calm, climatic, and quietly expressive, rooted in both material honesty and lived experience.
